Questions
Frequently Asked about Fuel Magic
Q: When and how often should I use Fuel Magic? - A)
You'll want to use Fuel Magic in each and every tankful of fuel.
Fuel Magic is super concentrated so very little is needed. Use it
every day to improve the performance of all of your engines.
Q: How do I measure how much to use? - A) Fuel
Magic comes in 16 oz. pour bottles for trucks and 2 oz. squirt bottles
for cars. Using the appropriate size bottle makes it easy to add
the right amount of Fuel Magic to your tank. It is not necessary
to measure exactly. Too much or too little is not a problem. Anywhere
within the treatment range is fine.
Q: How can I squirt Fuel Magic past the flap
in my fuel tank filler opening? - A) It usually doesn't
matter whether the flap is open or closed. Fuel Magic does not
evaporate quickly and will eventually find its way into the tank.
Just add a gentle squirt of Fuel Magic regularly - either before
or after fueling.
Q: I used Fuel Magic and my performance improved.
If I stop using Fuel Magic will my performance go back down again? -
A) Yes, eventually.
Skeptical about fuel saving additives?
Fuel Magic Challenges the Skeptics.
Here’s
what the skeptics say: Fuel
saving additives often cite improvements based on best case scenarios,
sometimes 20% or more...not what an average driver can expect to
achieve.
Here’s
what Fuel Magic says: Fuel
Magic approaches fuel savings by incrementally improving combustion,
lubrication and engine cleanliness at the same time. Fuel mileage
improvement varies widely with the type of fuel, condition of the
engine and driving conditions. In the U.S. the proven average fuel
mileage increase with Fuel Magic is about 8%.
SKEPTICS
SAY: Fuel
additives cannot work with both gasoline and diesel fuels. Diesel
cetane and gasoline octane are opposite measurements and you cannot
improve both with the same product.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Fuel
Magic's combustion modifier increases the cetane in diesel fuel
by about 2 to 2.5 numbers. In gasoline, Fuel Magic does not increase
octane but instead reduces the octane demand of the engine by removing
combustion deposits and keeping the combustion chambers clean.
SKEPTICS
SAY: Removing
combustion chamber deposits will only improve fuel mileage in older
vehicles that have heavy deposits.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Engines
eat carbon. They all have combustion chamber deposits which begin
building up immediately as soon as they are driven. This in turn
drives the octane requirements up as much as 5 to 7 numbers in
the first 15,000 miles. Anti-knock sensors retard the ignition
slightly so that you don't notice it, but fuel mileage suffers.
SKEPTICS
SAY: Oil
from the crankcase is sufficient to keep pistons lubricated. A
fuel additive will not add significant lubrication to the combustion
chamber and may even create deposits.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: That's
old school thinking. Fuel Magic's unique polar compound has a molecular
attraction to the metallic surfaces inside the engine which creates
a thin film that reduces friction and wear. This attraction helps
Fuel Magic penetrate combustion deposits, even hardened ones, and
remove them with each firing of the engine, while also preventing
injector deposits and corrosion from developing in the fuel system.
SKEPTICS
SAY: Combustion
modifiers do very little to increase power. Fuel is burned efficiently
in most engines.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Fuel
Magic's combustion modifier will increase power by about 2% to
5% even in a brand new clean engine. By providing a cleaner fuel
burn and removing combustion deposits, power will increase and
hydrocarbon exhaust emissions will decrease.
SKEPTICS
SAY: You
have to use a lot of fuel additive to get any improvement and the
cost will erase any benefits.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Fuel
Magic is a super highly concentrated additive. One ounce will treat
40 gallons of gasoline or 25 gallons of diesel fuel. In a car tank,
one squirt is all it takes. A 2 oz. squirt bottle will treat FIVE
16 gallon tanks of gas (80 gallons total), and with the 8% average
fuel mileage increase will save about 6 gallons of gasoline.
SKEPTICS
SAY: If
combustion chamber deposits are a problem it would be easier and
cheaper to use only an internal engine cleaner once a year.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Carbon
deposits are highly abrasive. By allowing carbon to build up and
break away you are increasing the wear on your pistons and cylinders.
Fuel Magic will prevent combustion deposits from building up in
the first place. And cheaper? On the average, Fuel Magic will save
over 5 times its cost in fuel savings alone, plus many other benefits.
Fuel Magic pays you to use it A clean and lubricated engine will
run like new for a very long time.
SKEPTICS
SAY: Has
Fuel Magic been tested by my engine manufacturer?
Will it void my engine warranty?
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS: Fuel
Magic conforms to the standards set by the World-Wide
Fuel Charter; therefore it will not void engine warranties.
The Charter was created in 1998 by major engine manufacturers around
the world to create fuel and additive standards for their engines.
All fuels and additives within those guidelines are acceptable
for use with their engines and will not void warranties. This greatly
simplifies the acceptance of new technologies and frees the manufacturers
from the obligation to test all of the fuel additives individually.
Fuel
Magic is also registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
# 207120001. The EPA has determined that Fuel Magic
can be used safely with all modern emission control equipment. Fuel
Magic is also EPA accepted for bulk treatment of
all unleaded gasolines, ethanol fuels, bio-diesel and the new
sulfur diesel fuels.
FUEL
MAGIC SAYS TO THE SKEPTICS: Even
skeptics like to be proven wrong occasionally. Try
Fuel Magic yourself. It's safe for all engines and has a 100% satisfaction
money back guarantee.
